Depending on the Nuxeo product or underlying software you install on a Linux system, it may be necessary to tune some kernel parameters for proper operation. For the time being, just read this to see if there's anything you need to adjust before going any further.
Probably worth also explaining that installing via Ubuntu package may modify kernel parms automatically, and also might be worth expanding this page to discuss any Windows-based adjustments that need to be made as well. Are there any?
