Nuxeo can work with many databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and others could be added). However each database has its intrinsic limitations, and this can make them more or less suitable to work with Nuxeo.

Below we list some limitations on the databases we support:

Given the relative limitations of these databases, we recommend using PostgreSQL if possible. PostgreSQL is our reference database.
