This page and its child pages are a gentle introduction to downloading, installing, configuring and running the latest release of Nuxeo DM 5.4 (Document Management). This tutorial will focus on getting Nuxeo DM up and running on a Linux system and while almost all of what follows can be done by a regular (that is, non-root) user, you may need root privileges to first ensure that your Linux server has been properly configured based on these system setup pages:
