Nuxeo Cloud is a hosted and managed offering that provides our customers with the setup, support and maintenance for a complete implementation of the Nuxeo Platform.
We provide our cloud customers with support and management of the infrastructure, third-party services, and Nuxeo application - including marketplace package deployments and configuration changes.
Nuxeo Cloud Environments
Nuxeo Cloud offers our customers 3 different types of environments. Each environment comes with support for the latest release of the Nuxeo Platform, including any Hotfixes.
Production
Production environments are the primary environment used by all Nuxeo Cloud customers. Production environments include:
- Support and management of all changes and deployments by the Nuxeo Cloud team
- Complete monitoring and 24x7 Support by the Nuxeo Cloud team
- PCI/DSS and SOC2 Certified (as of 2019)
Pre-Production
Pre-Production environments are used to validate all deployments before moving to Production. Pre-Production environments are a scaled down version of Production and include:
- Support and management of all changes and deployments by the Nuxeo Cloud team
- Support for Production data including regular data updates
- PCI/DSS and SOC2 Certified (as of 2019)
Development Sandbox
The Nuxeo Development Sandbox is a Docker-container based environment that enables our customers to easily build and deploy applications during their development process.
Nuxeo Cloud customers have the option to purchase a Development Sandbox in addition to the standard Production and Pre-Production to quickly start the application development and configuration process.
Development Sandboxes include:
- Pre-configured deployment of Nuxeo and required services
- Access to Nuxeo built CI/CD for deployments

Monitoring and Support
All environments are proactively monitored 24x7 and supported by the Nuxeo Cloud team.
Continuous Improvement
The Nuxeo Cloud deployment technologies use Nuxeo best practices and are continuously improved upon in coordination with the Nuxeo Platform.
Security
All Production and Pre-Production environments are enabled with application and infrastructure level security monitors. The security model is continuously reviewed by the Nuxeo Security team. As of 2019, the Nuxeo Cloud Production and Pre-Production environments are SOC2 and PCI/DSS Compliant.
